Job summary

MedImpact Healthcare Systems, Inc. seeks a Formulary Administration Specialist I to join our San Diego headquarters. You will participate in design and validation of PBM formulary plans and provide robust support to external clients regarding formulary changes.

You will ensure service levels meet corporate standards, process drug updates, and maintain clear communications with clients and pharmacists. A 2+ year background in pharmacy operations and an active pharmacy tech license are preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree and 2+ years’ experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Current Pharmacy Technician License and/or CPhT certification without restriction.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with databases.
• Basic PBM knowledge and Medicare Part D formulary knowledge desired.

Responsibilities

• Assist in design and validation of formulary plans.
• Provide client support for formulary changes.
• Process drug updates and formulary files for review by pharmacists.
• Escalate complex issues to managers/pharmacists.
