Summary:

The Formula and Milk Technician, PRN, is responsible for the preparation and delivery of all formula and breast milk, ensuring the safe operation of equipment and sanitation in the preparation area.

Description of Responsibilities:

1. Prepares and delivers formula, breast milk, and donor breast milk according to patient orders in the electronic medical record.
2. Calculates volumes and additives based on recipes.
3. Maintains adequate stock of products in preparation and nourishment areas.
4. Stores formula and breast milk using the first-in, first-out method.
5. Processes orders using the electronic medical record system, including printing reports and labels.
6. Updates milk recipe books and kardex according to latest orders.
7. Charges patients for preparation services via the electronic medical record.
8. Performs other duties as assigned.
