Michigan Farm Bureau seeks a Forms Design Analyst to translate business requirements into compliant forms, ensuring adherence to design standards and regulatory obligations. The role involves creating, testing, and proofreading forms, and monitoring layout quality across documentation.
Qualified candidates have at least three years in property/casualty insurance, knowledge of policy language, and proficiency with Microsoft Office and forms design software.
To use business requirements to create or revise company documents in accordance with forms management standards and/or Michigan Department of Insurance and Financial Services (DIFS) requirements. To enforce controls that support quality assurance and ensure forms conform to desired specifications.
Design form by using appropriate software and applying applicable corporate document standard design principles. Test and evaluate output for desired function and design. Review and proofread composed forms.
Monitor and analyze form layout and design and make recommendations for forms improvement.
Manage forms inventory as necessary by monitoring stock usage, controlling the process of ordering documents through appropriate vendors, and other activities necessary to ensure inventory is supplied appropriately.
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Associates degree with emphasis in business, insurance, writing or analysis preferred, or equivalent experience in forms design and management may be considered.
Three years experience in property/casualty insurance business with knowledge of policy language and forms or other applicable experience required.
Experience with Microsoft Office products and forms design software required.
Preferred
Understanding of forms design, development and management processes preferred.
Certifications in Forms Design or Management, General Insurance (GI) and/or Process Management preferred.
