Job summary

PennEngineering in Waterford, Michigan seeks a Formax Formpak Setup Technician to set up dies and transfer tooling on Formax machines in a high-paced manufacturing facility. You will ensure machines are configured per job sheets and inspect tooling for refurbishment before production runs.

Responsibilities

• Follows header schedule to ensure die packs are ready for upcoming setups.
• Pulls job box and verifies tools are ready for installation.
• Follows setup sheets to stage dies, spacers, and loose tools.
• Installs punches, dies, and fingers on transfers.
• Adjusts punch wedge settings and IFO timing as needed.
• Cleans and prepares tooling returning from production for next run.
• Maintains a safe and clean work environment per procedures.
• Follows safety requirements to prevent injuries.
• Repairs or reports non-conformances to safety policies.
