Job summary

Green Bay Packaging is seeking a Forming Operator to join our Forming Department. You will operate automated, high-speed forming equipment, perform changes, feed materials, and monitor quality to ensure product standards are met.

The role requires a high school education or better, strong mechanical aptitude, and the ability to follow GMP and safety protocols. Training will precede shift flexibility and overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on mechanical reasoning and troubleshooting abilities.
• Comfort with automated systems and digital machine interfaces.
• Good English communication and basic math for metrics tracking.

Responsibilities

• Efficiently perform product, raw material, and roll changes to maintain continuous production flow.
• Feed raw materials into forming machinery during runs to optimize efficiency and minimize downtime.
• Conduct regular visual and physical quality inspections to meet standards.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance, cleaning, and basic machine adjustments.
• Follow GMP, safety protocols, and Direct Food Contact procedures.
• Identify issues, clear jams, and adjust settings to resolve line disruptions.
