EnerSys, a global leader in stored energy solutions, seeks a C/F Technician at the main plant in Kentucky. The position operates on C Shift, with Mondays and Tuesdays off, and requires hands-on manufacturing experience.

You will transport, connect, and service battery cells, maintain charging areas, and record production data. Lifting up to 50 pounds, respirator work, and willingness to work varied schedules are expected.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least 1 year of manufacturing or distribution center experience.
• At least 1 year of experience with material handling equipment.
• Proficiency with computers and computer-based programs.

• Remove and install charging connectors.
• Fill cells and level cells with acid during charging.
• Water cells on charge.
• Disconnect cells or batteries from circuits and transport as needed.
• Burn in or remove forming wire.
• Read and adjust gravity.
• Operate overs and dry chargers.
• Stack and transport plates.
• Count and record various production records.
• Maintain and clean charging and forming areas.
• Perform daily housekeeping, hygiene & cleanliness procedures.
• Work overtime as required.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Job Purpose

We are now accepting applications for a C/F Technician in department 70, at the main plant. This position is currenlty posted as C Shift, off Mon & Tues. This is a skill and qualification position, so to be considered you must meet the job requirements.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Transport cells or batteries to circuits.


• Connect cells or batteries to circuits.

Minimum Qualifications

High school diploma or GED from an accredited institution.

At least one (1) year of manufacturing or distribution center experience.

At least one (1) year of experience with material handling equipment.

Proficiency with computers and computer-based programs.

General Job Requirements

• Must be able to frequently bend; twist; reach; stoop; kneel or crouch.


• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds/23 kilos on a daily continuous basis. Anything heavier will be done with the assistance of a mechanical device or with the assistance of another employee.


• Must be able to stand for long periods of time


• Employees are responsible for wearing the required Personal Protective Equipment in the proper manner at all times.


• Must be able and willing to wear a respirator.


• Must be able and willing to work varying schedules which may include nights, weekends, and public holidays.


• This position is exposed to harmful materials such as lead/fiberglass products. Periodic blood tests are required to measure the level of lead. Precautions are taken by the company/employee to reduce the risk of exposure and help ensure everyones safety.


• This position requires working in a plant/warehouse environment. Therefore, expect varying working conditions.
