Job summary

Galois, Inc. is seeking a Software Engineer/Researcher to advance programming language theory and formal verification. You will apply formal methods to prove security and correctness of software and systems for high-assurance applications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in CS or equivalent is required.
• MS/PhD in CS or related field is desirable but optional.
• Hands-on software development with formal verification experience.
• Experience with diverse formal methods and executable specs.

Responsibilities

• Requirements gathering through client discussions and refinement.
• Architectural descriptions and design with formal methods in mind.
• Extend prototypes to finished products with robustness in mind.
• Apply model checking, theorem proving, and formal verification.
• Construct system tests and semi-formal validation.
• Pursue R&D of cutting-edge tech for prototypes.
• Develop internal tools and shared library code.
