Job summary

Kokosing, Inc. is seeking a fieldWorker to support demolition, material handling, and site cleanup on our projects. You will assist in stocking and preparing materials and perform general duties under the Foreman's guidance to ensure project progress and safety.

The role requires physical fitness to lift up to 70 pounds, familiarity with measuring tools, and the ability to work independently or with a team in a field environment. Prior crane/forklift experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Ability to lift 50-70 lbs repeatedly.
• Read and interpret measuring tools accurately.
• Climb ladders and scaffolding safely.
• Work well in a team and follow directions.

Responsibilities

• Load, transport, unload equipment and supplies.

Position Summary

Performs different tasks including demolition, stocking, and clean-up of materials that are used to support the successful completion of our projects. Exposure is provided to the various trades that work in the field.

ESSENTIAL Duties and Responsibilities

• Load, transport, unload equipment, and supplies.

• Clean work area and restock supplies and materials as necessary.

• Perform other routine duties as directed by Foreman.

• Build concrete forms.

• Operate overhead cranes and forklifts.

• Performs tasks involving use of hands and tools; i.e. sawing lumber, dismantling forms.

Education/Experience

• High School diploma or GED equivalent.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Work independently, as well as within a group.

• Work rapidly and accurately with hands.

• Repeat tasks of short duration according to a set procedure.

• Climb and maintain balance on ladders and scaffolding.

• Work from a secured elevated position.

• Stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, or work at heights as required.

• Lift and carry objects weighing 50-70 pounds.

• Use arms and hands to reach for, handle, and manipulate objects.

• Follow specific directions. Stand and walk for long periods.
