Job summary

Webber, a Ferrovial company, seeks a Form Builder Apprentice to construct, erect, install and repair structures and fixtures of wood, metal or composites on our Fort Worth sites under the supervision of a foreman. You will study blueprints, mark cuttings, prepare layouts, and shape materials to prescribed measurements using carpenter’s hand tools and power tools, climbing scaffolds as needed.

This entry level role requires willingness to travel, and a High School Diploma or GED is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have basic carpentry knowledge and willingness to learn on the job.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints or building plans.
• Safety-conscious with ability to work at heights when required.

Responsibilities

• Study blueprints and determine material requirements.
• Prepare layouts, mark cuttings and assembly lines on materials.
• Assemble cut and shaped materials and form/erect structures as directed.
• Operate tools and work on scaffolding or ladders safely when needed.
