Job summary

Austin Bridge & Road in Fort Worth, TX is seeking a Carpenter - Form Builders Structures to join our team. You will build forms, set them on line and grade, and use power tools safely to support concrete placement and finishing according to project specs.

The role requires 1+ years of construction experience, a strong safety mindset, and the ability to work days, nights, and weekends in varying weather conditions.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in construction.
• Must have a strong commitment to jobsite safety.
• Applicants must be legally authorized to work for ANY employer in the United States. Austin Bridge & Road is unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment visa for this position.

Responsibilities

• Build forms and plan specifications.
• Set forms on line and grade.
• Understand proper safe use of power tools.
• Know and understand finishing tools such as bull float, straight edge, screed, and hand floats.
• Concrete placement and able to finish within the plan specifications.
• Able to follow instructions.
• Assist with concrete placement.
• Assist with concrete finishing.
• Traffic control.
• Follow safety policies and procedures.
• Work hours adjusted to meet the project’s needs; days, nights and weekends.
• Able to work in adverse weather conditions, hot or cold temperatures.
• Other duties as assigned.
