Job summary

Ryder Supply Chain Solutions is hiring Temporary Full Time Forklift Operators in Newnan, Georgia. Positions include hourly pay with an extra $0.50 per hour on the 2nd shift; schedules include Sunday-Thursday or Mon-Fri 1:00 pm - 9:00 pm, with interview-determined timing.

Work involves handling foods using Reach Truck, Sit-Down Forklift, Clamp, Slip Sheet and Electric Pallet Jack.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• One year or more related warehouse or powered industrial truck experience preferred.
• Valid Forklift Operator's License/certification.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Able to work in a diverse environment.
• Punctual with good attendance.
• Able to lift/push/pull up to 35 lbs.
• Able to stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Perform warehouse duties: loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting.
• Follow contract performance measurement guidelines.
• Accurate picking/packing, auditing, tote induction, staging, and loading/unloading trucks.
• Handle day-to-day paperwork in warehouse operations (picking sheets, bills of lading, etc.).
• Provide maintenance support for automated packing systems during core shift hours.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Ryder is immediately hiring Temporary Full Time Forklift Operators in Newnan, Georgia.

Warehouse Positions Pay Each Week

• Hourly Pay: $18.50 per hour
• Additional Shift Pay: $0.50/hr on 2nd shift
• Schedules Available:
• 2nd shift Sunday - Thursday or Monday - Friday 1:00 pm - 9:00 pm
• Schedule to be determined in interview

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• One (1) year or more related warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience preferred
• Valid Forklift Operator's License certified

Responsibilities

• Perform warehouse function, which may include loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and, cycle counting
• Performing duties within performance measurement guidelines of the contract
• Responsible for the accurate picking and packing, auditing, tote induction, staging of products and loading and unloading of trucks
• Responsible of dealing with day to day paperwork in a warehouse environment (i.e. picking sheets, returns, bills of lading, etc.)
• Provide technical and maintenance support for different aspects related to the automated packing system during the core shift hour of production
• Performing duties within performance measurement guidelines of the contract
• Performs other duties as assigned.
