Position Description

Ryder is hiring a Material Handler in Frankfort, Indiana. This role offers weekly pay, comprehensive benefits, and a career you can feel good about.

Pay: $19.00 per hour + $1.00 per hour additional. Schedule: Monday‑Tuesday 4:30 PM–3:00 AM, Friday‑Saturday 5:30 AM–4:00 PM.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform warehouse functions, including loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting.
• Maintain accurate picking and packing, auditing, tote induction, staging of products, and loading/unloading of trucks.
• Handle paperwork such as picking sheets, returns, and bills of lading.
• Provide technical and maintenance support for automated packing systems during core shift hours.
• Perform duties within performance measurement guidelines of the contract.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
• One (1) year or more related warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience (preferred).
• Valid forklift operator’s license.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to be a team player and work within a diverse environment.
• High degree of initiative and accuracy, even under pressure.
• Ability to lift or push/pull up to 35 lbs, stand for long periods, and work using health and safety methods.
• Flexible scheduling and availability on various work shifts.
• Detail-oriented with excellent follow-up practices.
