Job summary

Ryder is seeking a Material Handler in Frankfort, Indiana. The role offers weekly pay of $19.00 per hour, plus an additional $2.50 per hour, with a schedule of Wednesday to Saturday, 4:30 PM to 3:00 AM.

Responsibilities include handling food products and operating sit‑down forklifts and automated pallet jacks. Required are a high school diploma or equivalent, forklift license, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• One year or more related warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience preferred.
• Valid Forklift Operator’s License.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as a member of a team.
• Punctual with good attendance; able to work flexible shifts.

Responsibilities

• Perform warehouse tasks including loading, picking, packing, shipping, and receiving.
• Operate sit-down forklifts and automated pallet jacks.
• Assist with cycle counting and staging of products.
• Handle day-to-day paperwork such as packing slips and bills of lading.
• Provide maintenance support for automated packing systems during core shift.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• One (1) year or more related warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience preferred
• Valid Forklift Operator’s License certified
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as a member of a team

Additional Screening

Responsibilities

• Perform warehouse functions, which may include loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting
• Perform duties within performance measurement guidelines of the contract
• Responsible for the accurate picking and packing, auditing, tote induction, staging of products, and loading and unloading of trucks
• Responsible for dealing with day‑to‑day paperwork in a warehouse environment (ie picking sheets, returns, bills of lading, etc.)
• Provide technical and maintenance support for different aspects related to the automated packing system during the core shift hour of production
• Perform other duties as assigned
