Ryder System, Inc. in Plainfield, IL is hiring a Permanent Full-Time Warehouse Material Handler to support our facility with state-of-the-art equipment. This role involves forklift operation, picking, packing, shipping and receiving, with weekly pay and comprehensive benefits starting early.

Candidates need a high school diploma or equivalent, forklift license, and at least 1 year of warehouse experience. Strong communication and teamwork skills, reliability, and the ability to lift up to 35 lbs

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• One (1) year or more related warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience preferred.
• Valid Forklift Operator's License certified.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as a member of a team.
• Ability to be a team player and able to work within a diverse work environment.
• Punctual and dependable with good attendance.
• Ability to lift and/or push/pull up to 35 lbs and stand long periods.
• Flexible schedule on various work shifts.

Responsabilités

• Perform warehouse function, including loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting.
• Operate within performance measurement guidelines of the contract.
• Ensure accurate picking and packing, auditing, tote induction, staging and loading/unloading of trucks.
• Handle day-to-day paperwork in a warehouse environment (picking sheets, returns, bills of lading).
• Provide technical and maintenance support for automated packing systems during core production hours.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
