Job summary

HCA Healthcare is seeking a Material Handler in Sugar Land, TX to support our healthcare network by stocking and distributing supplies to points of care. You may operate a forklift as needed, with certification required.

Responsibilities include receiving goods, put-away, cycle counts, staging, and ensuring safe, organized warehouse operations. High school diploma or GED preferred; forklift certification preferred; ability to lift 25 lbs. is required.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Ensure clinicians have the supplies they need to provide high quality care.
• Read, follow, and execute tasks per instructions and workflow.
• Process receipt of products against purchase orders ensuring quantity and quality.
• Physically put away products into locations.
• Maintain accuracy of material inventory and locations; perform cycle counts as needed.
• Pick and pack material in an organized manner for staging.
• Stage material for loading and shipping for final delivery.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in receiving and shipping areas.
• Assist with annual physical inventory; ensure tasks are completed accurately.
• Conduct duties safely and in compliance with OSHA standards.
