QXO, a leading building products distributor and installer in San Diego, seeks a Warehouse Associate who will handle, organize, and prepare materials for customers and deliveries. You will operate forklifts, ensure accurate inventory, and uphold safety and cleanliness in outdoor and warehouse settings.

Qualified candidates bring forklift experience, a customer-first mindset, strong safety awareness, and the ability to work early mornings in a physically active environment.

Qualifications

• Experience operating forklifts and other heavy equipment; warehouse experience preferred.
• Commitment to providing an outstanding experience to customers, vendors, and coworkers through effective verbal and written communication.
• Strong attention to safety, organization, and accuracy.
• Ability to work effectively in a physically active warehouse and outdoor environment.

Responsabilités

• Operate forklifts and other heavy equipment to load, unload, and move materials within the warehouse and yard.
• Work outdoors with exposure to varying weather conditions
• Verify order contents and maintain accurate documentation, including pick tickets and inventory count sheets
• Inspect, organize, maintain, and track inventory
• Demonstrate a daily commitment to safety and adhere diligently to all safety protocols, while always wearing appropriate PPE
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment, including general cleaning and painting as needed
