Ben E. Keith Company is a large food and beverage distributor seeking a Warehouse General to support order selecting, receiving, loading, and repacking activities. The role uses forklifts or electric pallet jacks and requires safe operation, efficiency, and a professional appearance.

Candidates should have forklift experience or be capable of quick learning, with strong teamwork, communication skills, and the physical ability to move up to 165 lbs. 18+ and English literacy are required.

Qualifications

• Prior forklift experience preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment.
• Coordinate multiple activities and follow through with commitments.
• Good oral and written communication skills; team player.
• Motivated, detail oriented, organized; handle multiple priorities.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations.
• Must read and write English.
• Must be 18 years or older.

Responsibilities

• Operate warehouse equipment safely and per company policy.
• Maintain safe, clean work area; report hazards immediately to supervisor.
• Assist with order selecting, receiving, loading and repacking activities.
• Project a friendly, professional image at all times.
• Attend meetings as required.
