Job summary

Ferguson is seeking a Warehouse Associate/Backup Driver at our Midland, TX location. You will operate a stand-up forklift, pull orders, build and wrap pallets, and use RF devices to sort shipments.

You will also receive and stock inbound material and help keep the facility clean and safe for everyone. Delivery duties include transporting materials to customers, assisting with loading, inspecting vehicles, and performing routine safety checks.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; prior warehouse shipping/receiving experience required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs; comfortable in a fast-paced environment; strong work ethic.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a stand-up forklift (order selector/cherry picker) to pull and prepare outbound orders.
• Build, wrap, sort, and transport pallets and packages; use RF devices to sort and prepare orders.
• Receive, verify, stage and stock all incoming material; keep the workspace clean and safe.
• Deliver materials to customers, assist with loading/unloading and ensure delivery of tickets with material.
• Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections, fuel the truck as needed, and report issues.
