Job summary

Labor Solutions, LLC is hiring a Warehouse Worker for shipping and receiving in Minnesota. The role is safety sensitive and requires standing, lifting, and operating around equipment. 1st shift $21/hr; 2nd shift $22/hr, with training provided.

Responsibilities include reviewing receipts and shipments, ensuring accurate material receipt, loading/unloading, following FIFO, and performing quality checks. A forklift license and at least 1 year of food-manufacturing experience are required.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read and speak English fluently.
• Forklift License required; 1 year of experience preferred in a food manufacturing setting.

WAREHOUSE WORKER SHIPPING & RECIEVING

Sweet Harvest Foods serves the world's best-known food manufacturers, national retail and grocery chains, and food distributors with products used for direct consumption or as ingredients in products such as salad dressings, sauces, snacks, bread, cookies, crackers, beverages, and meat.

This position is determined to be safety sensitive.

Key Responsibilities

• Review scheduled receipts and shipments for the day.
• Ensure accurate receipt of material into facility (including Raw, Packaging, Co-Pack, etc.) and assure outgoing shipments match bill of lading.
• Completion of required forms and paperwork for proper receipt of material; utilization of Sage ERP system.
• Completion of Quality Checks on materials - Color and Moisture
• Unload and store finished goods in accordance with FIFO standards.
• Picks and builds outbound shipments according to procedures and customer requirements.
• Hand stack cases of product weighing up to 50 pounds repetitively.
• Examines shipment and compares items and quantity against the pick list to verify accuracy.
• Ensure adherence to food safety & quality objectives; ensure that ingredients and retail products are in accordance with company policy, all regulatory requirements and Safe Quality Food certification standards.
• Coordinates with Logistics team to ensure on-time deliveries.
• Implements and actively participates in the company safety program (AWAIR). Holds regular meetings and training sessions with all employees in coordination with other production supervisors. Creates and fosters a safe work environment and meets government and other regulatory agency requirements.
• Performs other duties as assigned or required by Warehouse Lead or Warehouse Supervisor.

Qualifications Education/Experience

• 1 year of relevant experience in a food manufacturing environment with FDA regulated industries.
• Forklift License, 1 year of experience required.
