Job summary

Americold Logistics LLC is seeking a hands-on maintenance technician to perform routine repairs and preventive maintenance on forklifts and other material handling equipment across the warehouse. You will troubleshoot, repair, and document maintenance tasks while ensuring safety standards and accuracy of records.

Shifts may include on-call work. Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, 1 year of forklift maintenance experience (or 2 years in auto/diesel/truck repair), HAZMAT

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 1 year forklift maintenance experience or 2 years mechanic experience in auto/diesel/truck repair.
• HAZMAT training and certification required.
• Basic computer skills for email, internet searches and data entry.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and repair forklifts, pallet jacks and other material handling equipment to safety standards.
• Maintain batteries and chargers in working order per safety standards.
• Test, maintain, and evaluate equipment performance with testing instruments.
• Maintain tools and machinery in good condition and use equipment as instructed.
• Conduct tests of safety equipment to ensure compliance with standards.
• Maintain preventive maintenance records in the maintenance management system.
