Job summary

Proman Staffing is hiring at a food manufacturing site in Elk Grove Village, IL. A sharp candidate will operate a stand-up forklift, pick orders, and load/unload trucks in a cold environment.

Shift is Monday–Friday with some Saturdays depending on volume; hours are 6:00 am to 3:00 pm, pay $21.00 per hour. Applicants should have 2+ years warehouse experience and a strong attendance record, as attendance is strictly monitored.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of warehouse experience.
• Attendance is critical and strictly monitored.

Responsibilities

• Operate stand-up forklift (Stand up reach), walkie rider or hand-jack.
• Pick and fill customer orders.
• Loading and unloading trucks and trailers.
• Weigh materials or products and record weights for production tags and labels.
• Palletize, stage, and label products for shipping.
• Perform cycle counting and verifying inventory.
• Perform quality inspection on products and shipments to ensure accuracy.
• Perform minor maintenance on vehicles and equipment including cleaning, lubricating, or fueling.
