Job summary

US Farathane in Auburn Hills, MI is seeking a Shipping/Receiving Clerk to support warehouse operations. You will load/unload trucks, prepare parts for shipment, and ensure accurate labeling and scanning for efficient dispatch.

The role emphasizes safety, accuracy, and teamwork. Candidates should have forklift experience, basic math and computer skills, and be able to pass forklift training. Full benefits and competitive pay are offered.

Qualifications

Forklift driving experience (min 6 months) in a plant/warehouse.
Ability to multi-task effectively.
Good mathematical ability and computer skills.
Ability to pass company-provided forklift training.

Responsibilities

Load/unload of trucks using a forklift in a safe manner.
Prepare parts for shipment using FIFO and customer packaging instructions.
Transfer parts from warehouse to shipment staging; ensure parts are scanned, wrapped, and labeled.
Follow dock lock procedures and proper labeling as per schedule.
Repack, relabel, and rewrap as necessary; manage inventory held for Quality.
Assist in training for new Shipping/Receiving Clerk and/or back up staff.
Other duties may be assigned.
