Job summary

Harris Teeter in Greensboro, NC is seeking a Receiver for the Freezer Warehouse (3rd shift, 7pm start) to safely operate a forklift, stock received products, and maintain accurate inventory. The role requires attention to safety procedures and the ability to follow detailed receiving instructions.

You will perform pre-trip inspections, assist in pallet movements, and ensure proper placement of goods while adhering to company policies and quality standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; or 1–3 months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
• Ability to write simple correspondence.
• Ability to effectively present information one-on-one to other employees of the organization.

Responsibilities

• Move pallets and load materials using forklift or lifting devices.
• Unload and stack material; transport to designated locations.
• Perform pre-trip inspection and report malfunctions.
• Follow attendance, safety, and company policies.
• Cross-train for pallet jack functions and operate related equipment.
• Maintain inventory accuracy using the warehouse system and scans.
