Job summary

Qualifications

• 0-5 years of relevant experience or equivalent.
• High School diploma/GED preferred.
• Must possess a Valid Driver's License.
• Ability to meet current MVR criteria per regulations/policy.
• Warehousing and material handling experience preferred.
• Certification to operate required motorized equipment required.
• Clear oral and written communication skills.
• Adequate manual dexterity and coordination.
• Ability to read and understand written instructions.
• Basic measurement and math skills required.
• Ability to multitask and manage time effectively.
• Ability to make sound decisions based on knowledge and judgment.
• Ability to collaborate well with supervisors and co-workers.

Responsibilities

• Move inventory or equipment, fill customer orders, and pull material from racks.
• Unload incoming material, load trucks and/or customer vehicles.
• Tag material for proper identification and complete required documentation.
• Move material using forklift, side loader, or crane.
• Operate yard truck to load and unload trailers.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly work area.
• Sort material by size, type, or product code on racks.
• Conduct daily/spot inventory checks and proper tagging.
• Report irregularities to supervisor for direction.
• Restock material as needed.
• May drive a non-DOT local delivery vehicle.
• Adhere to safety and quality standards.
