Job summary

Capitol Building Supply, Inc. is seeking a Warehouse Worker to support warehouse maintenance, shipping and receiving, storage, and delivery preparation. You will maintain safety standards, pick orders, load/unload trucks, and manage inventory with attention to accuracy and efficiency.

Responsibilities include organizing the warehouse, promoting customer service, and operating warehouse equipment. High school diploma or GED required with 0-1 years of related experience in a warehouse setting.

Qualifications

• Ability to safely load, unload, move, and stock materials.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate information accurately.
• Ability to follow safety procedures and work instructions.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Ability to operate or learn to operate basic warehouse equipment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain health and safety compliance in accordance with company policies and procedures.
• Prepare orders by processing requests, pulling materials, and organizing for pickup or delivery.
• Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently.
• Maintain inventory controls by minimizing material damage and ensuring order accuracy.
• Organize the warehouse and manage bin locations to support efficient operations.
• Establish and promote high standards of customer service.
• Ensure equipment is maintained and operated according to standards.
• Operate a forklift and other warehouse equipment as trained.
