Job summary

Dauch is seeking a General Production team member for our Auburn Hills campus to load, unload and move materials across a multi-plant environment. You will operate a powered industrial truck, feed production with materials, and help ensure a continuous workflow.

You will also use our computer systems to check inventories, prepare shipment paperwork, and support the North Plant while maintaining accurate stock records and supporting quality procedures.

Responsibilities

• Operate an industrial forklift.
• Operate heavy machinery, including a shot blaster, to ensure production never shuts down due to lack of material.
• Operate saws to feed production.
• Use AHM's computer system to check inventories and procedures.
• Maintain accurate inventories regarding quantities, weights, and locations.
• Load and unload trucks; manage materials on the shop floor.
• Support production at the North Plant; create shipment paperwork.
• Scrap non-conforming product per quality direction.
• Aid production to minimize downtime.
