Job summary

Nutrition 101 is seeking a Processing Equipment Operator / Forklift Driver to support production by operating forklifts and assisting with processing equipment handling food byproducts.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years forklift experience and can become forklift certified within the first weeks; must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a non climate-controlled facility with emphasis on safety and quality.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years forklift or material handling experience preferred.
• Ability to become forklift certified within the first weeks.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
• Comfortable in a non climate-controlled production environment.
• Strong emphasis on safety and quality.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts to load, unload, and transport materials throughout the facility.
• Move finished pallets and raw materials to designated storage areas.
• Support production operations including crushing, baling, cleaning, and de-packaging materials.
• Assist processing crews to keep production running efficiently.
• Inspect incoming and outgoing materials for accuracy and quality.
• Maintain accurate inventory and production records using tablets and Excel spreadsheets.
• Perform routine equipment checks and report maintenance issues.
• Follow all safety and sanitation procedures.
