Job summary

Wilmar LLC is seeking a full-time Warehouse Associate in Kent, WA to efficiently fill customer orders and prepare shipments. You will retrieve items, verify accuracy, and load them for delivery while maintaining tidy work areas and following safety rules.

We require at least 1 year of order picking experience, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and legal authorization to work in the United States. Starting wage is $21.00 per hour with swing shift premiums where applicable.

Qualifications

• One year order picking experience in a warehouse.
• Ability to commute/relocate to Kent, WA 98032.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs

Responsibilities

• Fill customer orders and deliver them to the packing area or loading dock.
• Obtain merchandise from bins or shelves and ensure the completeness and correctness of all orders filled.
• Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, color, or product code
• Mark materials with identifying information using the appropriate method
• Repair bins as required
• Ensure that the work area and warehouse are clean and clutter-free at all times
• Follow all safety policies and procedures, including wearing and using the proper safety equipment
• Wear the proper personal protective equipment
• Adhere to Company Policy and Procedures
• Perform duties as workload necessitates
• Communicate regularly with the Warehouse Managers or Inventory Control on problems with stock location size and changes requested by Wilmar employees
• Demonstrate flexible and efficient time management and ability to prioritize workload
• Consistently report to work on time prepared to perform duties of position

Starting wage: $21.00/hour for day shift. Swing shift positions receive an additional shift premium.
