Job summary

Mt. Olive Pickle Company Inc. is seeking a full-time Warehouse Forklift Operator to safely operate forklift and scanning equipment to pick finished goods per written orders.

The role collaborates with inventory control for cycle counts and supports special events by pulling samples and product as needed. Responsibilities include pre-operational checks, maintaining accurate order records, and operating wrapping and palletizing equipment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; some additional training preferred.
• Ability to read, write and communicate in English.
• Certified forklift operator required or strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Completes the daily Pre-Operational Checklist before operating lift.
• Reports forklift damage or malfunction to supervisor.
• Operates forklift at safe speed and watches for pedestrians or other vehicles.
• Uses forklift and scanning equipment to pick finished goods per written orders.
• Pulls and stacks cases by hand when needed; records dates on bills of lading.
• Transports items to outgoing staging area and ensures order accuracy.
• Maintains accurate records of orders picked and pallets wrapped.
• Operates pallet inverter and shrink wrap machine; unloads goods between warehouses.
• Cleans warehouse, trailers, docks, and surrounding areas; keeps area orderly.
• Lifts up to ~60 pounds; follows safety rules and company policies.
• Participates in training and team meetings; follows supervisor instructions.
