Job summary

Oak Harbor Freight Lines, a family-owned transportation company with over 110 years of service, is seeking Forklift Operators/Dock Workers in Sacramento to build a long-term career focused on reliability and teamwork. You will safely load/unload trailers and manage shipment documents.

The role emphasizes forklift operation, dock work, and adaptability to shifts, with opportunities to advance into driver training and a full-time dock position within a stable, growth-minded employer.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Basic English language proficiency (reading, writing and verbal) is required.
• Simple arithmetic, weight and/or measuring is required.
• A High School Diploma or GED/Equivalent is strongly preferred.
• Previous warehouse or like experience strongly preferred.
• Forklift experience is strongly preferred.
• Experience using tools, machines, and special equipment: hand truck, four-wheel dock cart, pallet jack, barrel truck, dock plates, load locks and/or rope is preferred.
• Experience in an LTL operation preferred.

• Ability to meet the Company's reliability standard for employees.
• Availability to work various shifts during the week to accommodate business needs.
• Other duties as assigned.
