Job summary

Niagara Bottling, LLC is seeking a dedicated Forklift Operator to safely operate a sit-down forklift, load/unload materials, and manage pallets within a high-volume production environment. The role involves using a WMS system to track inventory and coordinate deliveries to production areas.

Qualifications include a High School Diploma or GED (or equivalent) and forklift certification. Preferred qualifications include experience in manufacturing and working with warehouse systems.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent work experience.
• The proven ability to safely operate a sit down motorized forklift.
• The ability to navigate within a WMS system.

Responsibilities

• Move levers and pedals to drive forklift and control movement of lifting apparatus.
• Unload and stack material by raising and lowering lifting device.
• Plan supply and material requirements by studying production schedule; schedule deliveries to production area.
• Retrieve supplies and materials by studying specifications; locate and verify supplies and materials; secure pallets on truck; move pallet to production location.
• Maintain inventory in production area by tracking usage and reporting discrepancies.
