Job summary

Staffmark Group in Taylors, SC is hiring a Forklift Operator to support shipping and receiving tasks in a fast-paced warehouse. The role requires operating forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks, with attention to safety and accuracy.

You will verify shipments against purchase orders, read work orders, and help with inventory and documentation. This full-time position offers $17.00 per hour and weekly pay, plus benefits and growth opportunities with Staffmark.

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse, shipping, receiving, or material handling experience preferred
• Forklift experience and ability to safely operate material handling equipment
• Experience using pallet jacks and hand trucks
• Ability to read and interpret purchase orders, shipping documents, and work orders
• Basic computer and scanning experience preferred
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to lift, move, and transport materials throughout the shift
• Strong organizational and teamwork skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment

Responsibilities

• Assist with shipping and receiving operations by unloading trucks using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks
• Verify incoming shipments against purchase orders and distribute materials by lot number
• Read customer orders, work orders, and shipping documents to determine material movement and order fulfillment
• Inspect incoming cargo for accuracy and damage, documenting discrepancies as needed
• Complete shipping and receiving paperwork, logs, and inventory documentation
• Verify proper product identification and labeling
• Sort and store materials by account, part number, and designated warehouse location
• Operate forklifts and assist with loading, unloading, and staging materials
• Scan outbound shipments to verify order accuracy and quality before shipping
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness, perform routine equipment inspections, and assist with general warehouse maintenance
• Perform additional warehouse duties as assigned to support daily operations
