Job summary

Aerotek’s Sparks, NV facility is hiring a Forklift Operator / Warehouse Associate on a contract-to-hire basis. You will load/unload trailers, move and stage product, and ensure accurate order picking and packing while following safety procedures.

Role requires a forklift certification, reliable attendance, and ability to work overtime as needed in a fast-paced warehouse environment. You will operate various warehouse equipment and uphold quality and security standards.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to operate gas or electric powered forklifts safely and efficiently in a warehouse or distribution environment.
• Experience with material handling tasks such as loading, unloading, moving, staging, replenishing, and stacking product.
• Demonstrated competence in shipping and receiving activities, including handling outbound and inbound shipments in accordance with procedures.

Responsibilities

• Load outbound shipments using forklifts and move product within the warehouse per SOPs.
• Efficiently load orders into doors and trailers, ensuring secure loading for shipping.
• Unload inbound shipments and store products in designated areas using appropriate equipment.
• Pick orders with forklifts and fulfill client demands while maintaining accuracy.
• Stage products and label them according to client requirements and SOPs.
