Job summary

PeopleShare by PROMAN in Lockport, IL is seeking an experienced forklift operator for immediate temporary openings on 1st or 2nd shift. The role involves safely operating forklifts, performing inspections, and keeping the warehouse organized to support growing production.

These are temporary assignments with potential for full-time opportunities based on performance. Pay is $18.00-$19.00 per hour with weekly pay and benefits available.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of forklift experience is required.
• Minimum 1 year of warehouse or manufacturing experience is required.
• Automotive industry experience is preferred.
• Basic computer skills are required.
• Strong communication and organizational skills are needed.
• Flexible to work overtime and weekends when needed.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate industrial forklifts to move, transport, and store materials
• Complete daily forklift inspections and report any issues
• Ensure products are properly stored in designated warehouse locations
• Prepare parts and materials for daily truck routes
• Stack pallets and organize empty boxes safely
• Shrink-wrap materials and place inventory into warehouse racks
• Keep warehouse and dock areas clean, organized, and safe
• Assist in other warehouse departments as needed
• Follow all company safety, quality, and operational procedures
• Perform additional duties as assigned
