Job summary

Staffmark Group in Hagerstown, MD is hiring a Forklift Operator to safely move materials, support inventory movement, and maintain efficient warehouse operations.

Responsibilities include operating powered industrial trucks, loading and unloading, and ensuring accuracy of inventory and shipping documents. The role offers shifts including 7:00 AM–7:00 PM and 7:00 PM–7:00 AM with competitive pay.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months of prior experience operating powered industrial equipment.
• Experience operating forklifts safely and efficiently.
• Ability to load, unload, move, stack, and organize palletized materials.
• Knowledge of warehouse safety procedures and safe equipment operation.
• Ability to identify inventory, shipping documentation, and storage locations.
• Strong attention to detail and dependable attendance.

Responsibilities

• Operate powered industrial trucks to retrieve and move products throughout the facility.
• Use center riders, reach trucks, sit-down forklifts, and cherry pickers safely and efficiently.
• Prepare products for shipping and distribution.
• Load, unload, and transport materials as needed.
• Follow all safety procedures and warehouse operating guidelines.
• Maintain accuracy while handling inventory and orders.
