Job summary

Ryder is hiring a Storeroom Attendant / Forklift Operator in Raleigh, NC to support our distribution network across the US. This role offers weekly pay, comprehensive benefits, paid training, and opportunities for career growth within a safety-focused team.

As part of the warehouse team, you will operate forklifts, pick and pack, and maintain accurate inventory while adhering to safety standards. High school diploma and forklift license required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Forklift Operator's License is required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work indoors/outdoors.
• Experience with WMS systems is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform warehouse functions including loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting.
• Operate within contract performance measurement guidelines.
• Ensure accurate picking, packing, auditing, tote induction, and loading/unloading of trucks.
• Handle day-to-day warehouse paperwork (picking sheets, returns, bills of lading, etc.).
• Provide technical and maintenance support for automated packing systems during core shifts.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
