Job summary

Ryder in Chapel Hill, NC is hiring a Storeroom Attendant / Forklift Operator on first shift (Mon-Fri, 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM) with weekly pay. You will handle inbound/outbound warehouse tasks in a clean, safety-focused facility.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• One year or more related warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience preferred.
• Valid Forklift Operator's License certificate.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Able to work in a diverse environment.
• Must be punctual with good attendance.

Responsibilities

• Load, pick, pack, ship, receive and forklift operation.
• Cycle counting and staging of products.
• Handle day-to-day warehouse paperwork (picking sheets, returns, bills of lading).
• Provide support for automated packing systems during shift hours.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
