Position Summary

Forklifts promote our Built on Safety mindset by efficiently moving materials needed for production to designated locations. An ideal Forklift Driver safely works in tight areas to ensure the timely movement of product.

Duties/Responsibilities

• Operate forklift safely for loading and unloading materials and finished products
• Coordinate with production management for product movement
• Maintain logs and safety checks
• Identify process and procedure changes with management
• Inspect finished products for quality standards
• Follow all safety policies and procedures
• Operate additional production equipment
• Assist in training and cross training
• Report production accurately using designated programs
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Experience with commercial forklift operation
• Maintain certification
• Effective communication skills
• Intermediate understanding of inventory technology
• Proficiency in English reading and writing; Spanish preferred
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office

Physical Demands

• Lift 25 pounds consistently, up to 80 pounds occasionally
• Work environment includes weather, noise, and dust
• Move in and out of forklift regularly
