Job description

Reporting to the Operations Supervisor, the Forklift Operator is responsible for ensuring that product is moved within our warehouse in a safe and efficient manner by forklift operation and physically loading/unloading our trucks. The Forklift Operator is also responsible for maintaining proper inventory, good housekeeping, and ensuring that warehouse standards are adhered to.

Responsibilities

All the responsibilities we'll trust you with:

  • Experience, knowledge, & education (if applicable) required
  • · 2 years forklift operation experience in warehouse or inventory environments (preferred)
  • · Prior exposure to CPG and/or Food & Beverage industries (preferred)
  • · Ability to demonstrate decision-making and problem-solving skills
  • · Basic understanding of computer systems and/or warehouse management (WM) systems
  • · Fluent in English; additional languages beneficial
  • · Ability to stand, walk, sit, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, and climb steps/ladders
  • · Occasionally lift, move, and place up to 75 pounds
  • · Exposure to moving mechanical parts, varying temperatures, and weather conditions
  • · Ability to be certified to operate Powered Industrial Trucks (PIT), such as forklifts and electric pallet jacks
  • · Maintain a safe and healthy work environment following company standards and procedures
  • · At least 18 years old
  • · Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Travel: 0-10%

Compensation: Base + bonus target: $20.00/hour; $3 shift differential; 5% quarterly bonus. The pay range may change in the future.
