Responsibilities

• Load and unload trailers and railcars and transport loads to designated areas.
• Check inbound/outbound products for accuracy and damage.
• Use handheld scanners/equipment for warehouse management system compliance.
• Assist in cycle counts and physical inventories.
• Recharge batteries, fill fuel tanks, or replace gas tanks.
• Perform daily maintenance inspections of equipment.
• Follow company procedures and policies to complete tasks timely.
• Adhere to safety policies and guidelines to ensure safe working conditions.
• Work cooperatively with other warehouse associates.
• Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly facility.
• Perform any additional duties as assigned by supervisor.

Qualifications

Education/Experience

• A high school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum 1 year experience operating a forklift.
• Preferred 1 year experience in a warehouse environment.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Maintain productivity and accuracy standards.
• Apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions and solve problems.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds frequently, up to 50 pounds regularly, and up to 100 pounds occasionally.
• Work in a non-temperature controlled warehouse environment.
