Reporting to the Operations Supervisor, the Forklift Operator/Material Handler is responsible for ensuring that products are moved within our warehouse in a safe and efficient manner by forklift operation and physically loading/unloading trucks. The role also involves maintaining proper inventory, and upholding good housekeeping and warehouse standards.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a forklift to move finished products to the warehouse or onto trucks for distribution to customers.
• Complete pre-trip inspections and maintain energy sources for lifts.
• Operate, changeover, clean, troubleshoot, and perform basic maintenance on palletizing equipment.
• Ensure effective and safe use of warehouse equipment.
• Perform safety inspections and audits as required.
• Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures.
• Use scanning equipment to ensure accurate inventory tracking within the facility.
• Follow standard work policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with other forklift drivers to prevent line stoppages and improve operations.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Experience operating a forklift is required.
• Ability to lift, move, and place up to 25 pounds regularly.
• Experience in a warehouse environment is a plus.
• Proficiency in English; additional languages are an advantage.

Details

Shift: Monday - Thursday, 6:30 PM - 5:00 AM

Compensation: Base + bonus target: $20.00/hour; $1 shift differential; 5% quarterly bonus target.

Note: The pay range may be adjusted in the future.
