Objective

Responsible for the accurate and efficient supply of materials and equipment to and from specified areas, and the arrangements of the warehouses under the guidelines specified.

**Duties and responsibilities include**

• Operate equipment (including but not limited to lift truck, tractor trailer) in accordance with good safety practices.
• Keep assigned equipment in good, clean, safe condition, reporting any mechanical problems to the supervisor.
• Remove product from production and place it in its proper place in the warehouse.
• Responsible for paper counts, product coding and all other necessary paper work.
• Keep work area clean in accordance with good housekeeping practices.
• Learn to know where to find all items in the warehouse and inventory systems.
• Perform duties related to the warehouse operation.
• Constantly attempt to learn all possible information so as to qualify for advancement to Warehouseman A.
• Responsible for following food safety, legality and quality policies and procedures within the scope of the job responsibilities such as: GMP's, food safety, product quality, food security, etc.
• Report any equipment problems to the leads or supervisors immediately
• Position requires the physical ability to lift 40 - 70 pounds
• Adheres to all common safety practices and rules; including the wearing of proper PPE
• Adheres to plant hygiene standards to ensure high product integrity
• Performs other duties as assigned by leads and supervisor
