Job summary

JBS Foods is seeking an hourly Forklift Driver/Warehouse Tech for the 1st shift. The role involves operating forklifts, pallet jacks, and dollies while supporting receiving, storage, and shipping activities. Expect a starting rate of $20 per hour and a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Responsibilities include maintaining inventory accuracy, performing inspections, and assisting other areas as needed. A high school diploma and forklift certification are preferred, with strong reliability,

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent certification.
• Forklift certification preferred.
• Three or more years in warehouse processes.
• Understanding of inventory management and warehouse functions.
• WMS and barcode scanner experience preferred.
• Ability to speak, read, and write English; bilingual Spanish preferred.
• Strong work ethic and dependable; adaptable.

Responsibilities

• Operate a variety of warehouse equipment including forklifts, pallet jacks, and dollies.
• Participate in shipping, receiving, storing and issuing of supplies, materials, products.
• Participate in the receiving, unloading and inspection of shipments for damage and conformity to purchase order specifications and packing slips.
• Complete receiving, discrepancy and follow-up reports and contact Supervisors as needed.
• Stock products, plan storage locations, and maximize space utilization.
• Serve as a tech over an assigned warehouse function and prioritize work assignments.
• Deliver supplies and equipment as needed, and participate in annual physical inventories.
• Maintain the warehouse in a clean, safe, and secure condition; input data and generate reports.
