Job summary

DSV Albuquerque is seeking a Warehouse Operator (Shift 1) to load, unload, and move goods using a forklift and other material handling equipment. The role involves shipping, receiving, picking, and counting inventory, with attention to quality and safety.

You will count, inspect, and report discrepancies while maintaining a clean, organized work area. The position requires a High School diploma or GED and at least 6 months experience in logistics, plus forklift certification.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least 6 months experience in a logistics/distribution environment.
• Ability to operate material handling equipment (MHE).
• Satisfactory completion of forklift training/certification.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklift and other material handling equipment to ship, receive, and pick products according to procedures.
• Count, inspect, and notify leadership of damages or discrepancies.
• Ensure safe operation of equipment and comply with SOPs; maintain cleanliness and order in the area.
• Perform shipping, receiving, picking, and quality control tasks per SOPs.
• Follow safety protocols and participate in maintaining a safe work environment.
• Maintain equipment, report issues, and assist with maintenance as needed.
