Job summary

DSV – Global Transport and Logistics in Lake City, GA is seeking a Warehouse Operator to move, count, and store merchandise using a forklift and other powered equipment.

You will be responsible for receiving, put-away, order picking, packing, and delivering goods, while maintaining accuracy, safety, and clean work areas. A forklift certification and at least 6 months in a logistics environment are required, along with a high school diploma or GED.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• 6 months experience in logistics/distribution.
• Able to operate MHE and forklift equipment.

Responsibilities

• Receiving/Put-Away: unload, move to storage, input data into WMS.
• Order Picking: select and prepare items for shipment.
• Quality: ensure accuracy and report variances.
• Delivery: stage and document freight for shipping.
• Inventory: maintain records and perform cycle counts.
• Safety/Compliance: follow SOPs and OSHA/ MSDS rules.
• Equipment Operation: operate forklift safely and perform minor maintenance.
• Maintenance: assist in facility maintenance.
• Other duties: perform site-specific tasks as needed.
