Base pay range
$22.28/hr - $22.28/hr
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent education required.
- Previous forklift certification for Reach, Dock Stalker, or Sit-down forklift.
- RF scanner experience.
- Must have excellent math and reading comprehension skills and the ability to write legibly.
- Minimum of two years of warehouse experience, including one year of stand-up (Reach, Dock Stalker) forklift experience.
- Must be physically capable of performing assigned tasks, including significant walking, standing, bending, reaching, and safely lifting up to 50 lbs for extended periods. Team lift required for items over 50 lbs.
- Must be able to take direction and complete all work assignments within established timelines.
- Must be a team player with the ability to work and interact effectively with fellow co-workers.
- High degree of attention to detail and awareness to prevent injury and property damage, while promoting a safe work environment.
- Ability to multi-task.
- Typically, work is performed in a warehouse environment with adequate lighting, ventilation, and normal temperature and noise levels.
Responsibilities:- Operate all powered and non-powered material handling equipment efficiently and safely.
- Perform all warehouse functions, including but not limited to shipping, receiving, and order fulfillment.
- Maintain a safe work environment and ensure compliance with all company safety policies and procedures.
- Utilize RF equipment to accurately process inbound (receiving), outbound (shipping), and internal orders and requisitions.
- Ensure all processed transactions are accurate in terms of item and quantity.
- Perform cycle counts and assist with inventory accuracy by conducting Quality Assurance inspections as required.
- Provide backup support for job functions in other departments as needed, with appropriate cross-training.
- Consolidate stock to improve inventory performance and maximize warehouse space.
- Maintain company 5S standards in the assigned work area.
- Meet and maintain productivity and quality standards as defined by the department manager.
- Inspect and perform QA on all outbound freight to ensure correct items, accurate quantities, and undamaged cartons. Obtain manager approval for any damaged shipments.
- Palletize and load shipments to prevent damage during transit.
- Load products onto LTL, TL trailers, and vans.
- Inspect all inbound freight for quantity and damage, completing appropriate documentation, including carrier BOL, as per Standard Work Instructions.
- Maintain knowledge of and adhere to all department Standard Work Instructions.
- Conduct daily forklift inspections before operation, complete forklift inspection checklists, and report any needed repairs to management.
- Perform C-TPAT compliance inspections and documentation for all inbound and outbound international shipments as per Standard Work Instructions.
- Maintain operational and warehouse security per C-TPAT policy.
- Perform any other duties as assigned.
