Job summary

Smurfit Westrock plc in Pleasant Prairie is seeking a Forklift Operator - Warehouse to load and unload materials, move items between storage and loading areas, and support production safely.

You must pass a written and driving test to obtain the operator's license, and be capable of lifting up to 50 lbs. Daily overtime and rotating/3rd shift will be required. Drug screening applies after conditional offer.

Qualifications

• Must pass a written and driving test to obtain operator's license.
• Ability to work safely and comply with all safety regulations.
• Able to push, pull, bend, squat, lift up to 50 lbs. on a frequent basis.
• Willingness to work any available shift and daily overtime.

Responsibilities

• Operate and manage industrial trucks to load/unload materials and move them to/from storage areas, machines and docks.
• Fill out bills of lading and perform basic maintenance tasks on the forklift as needed.
• Participate in cross training for plant needs and report safety/quality concerns.
