Position Description

Ryder is immediately hiring a Permanent Full Time Forklift Operator in St Elmo, Illinois.

Compensation and Schedule

• Hourly Pay: $19.00 per hour
• Additional Pay: $0.50 raise in 6 months, another $0.50 at the 1-year mark
• Schedule: Monday-Friday, 5:00 am - 3:00 pm

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• One or more years of related warehouse or powered industrial truck experience preferred
• Valid Forklift Operator's License
• Strong communication skills, ability to work independently and in diverse teams
• Ability to lift up to 35 lbs, stand for long periods, and work flexible schedules

Responsibilities

• Loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, cycle counting
• Handling paperwork such as picking sheets, returns, bills of lading
• Providing technical support for automated packing systems
• Performing other duties as assigned
