Job summary

Ryder is hiring a Material Handler in Hebron, Kentucky to join a fast-paced warehouse team. The role features a Monday–Friday schedule with 2:00pm–10:00pm shifts, weekly pay, and comprehensive benefits.

You will operate forklifts, assist in loading, packing, and shipping, and support a culture of safety and continuous improvement. Qualifications include a high school diploma, forklift certification, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• One (1) year or more related warehouse experience preferred.
• Valid Forklift Operator's License certified.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as a member of a team.
• Ability to be a team player and work within a diverse work environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform warehouse functions, including loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting.
• Work within contract performance measurement guidelines.
• Ensure accurate picking, packing, auditing, tote induction, staging of products and loading/unloading of trucks.
• Handle day-to-day paperwork in warehouse settings (picking sheets, returns, bills of lading).
• Provide technical/maintenance support for automated packing systems during production shifts.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Hourly Pay: $19.50 per hour
• Overtime Pay: $29.25 per hour
• Shift Pay: $2.00 per hour when working Second Shift
• Schedule: Monday - Friday 2:00pm - 10:00pm

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• One (1) year or more related warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience preferred
• Valid Forklift Operator's License certified
• Strong verbal and written communication skills

• Performs other duties as assigned.
