Job description

Forklift Operator (Walkie) - All Shifts Available!

Shifts Available:

Day (P) Shift: Mon - Thurs, 7:00am - 5:30pm

Weekend (R) Shift: Fri - Sun, 7:00am - 7:30pm (work 36 hrs / paid for 40 hrs)

Pay Rate: $20.00/hr Day (P) Shift

+$.75 shift differential for Night (Q) and Weekend (R) Shifts

Purpose: Safely operate powered industrial trucks (PIT), such as forklifts, stand-up order pickers, cherry pickers, and other equipment to move products within the distribution center. Accurately process orders in and out of the facility.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate powered equipment to pick and put away products efficiently and accurately as assigned by supervisor
• Use warehouse management systems (WMS) and RF scanners to process barcoded products
• Identify and communicate exceptions to leadership
• Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs)
• Record production and complete necessary paperwork accurately
• Work overtime as needed
• Train and work in multiple areas as required
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment
• Perform other duties as assigned

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Ability to attain adidas certification to operate powered equipment such as order pickers, turret trucks, reach trucks, pallet jacks, and sit-down forklifts
• Basic math skills
• Proficiency in speaking, reading, writing, and understanding English

Essential Functions:

• Ability to talk, hear, sit, stand, walk, and use hands and feet for up to 12 hours/day
• Work safely at heights up to 40 feet
• Work in varying warehouse temperatures
• Attend scheduled hours reliably
• Operate power industrial equipment safely
• Occasionally sit, bend, twist, climb, balance, lift (up to 50 lbs), stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl

Minimum Qualifications:

• High School diploma or equivalent
• At least 6 months of experience operating forklifts
• Proficiency in English
